Proudly born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, now living in Montreal since 2009. She has been making art since she was old enough to wield basic motor skills. As a child she enjoyed taking many art classes at the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s WAG Studio. She completed two years of art school at the University of Manitoba from 2007-09 where she specialized in painting, drawing, basic design, printmaking, environmental design and planetary science. After moving to fabulous Montreal she resumed her studies in 2010 at Concordia University. Finally graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction in 2014 with a major in Painting and Drawing and a minor in Printmaking. Now, working as an Irish pub waitress by night, she works on continuing her art practice by day in print media, painting and book arts. Life and the world around her and the people she meets are her inspiration for her work. She strives to “keep it real” while maintaining a light hearted, comical and positive outlook on life.
While doing her undergrad at Concordia University she was the head of the Concordia Student Printmaker’s Association. She organized fundraisers, curated exhibitions and managed team logistics. Her goal is to transfer these skills she developed in university into a professional career working as a curator in a Montreal gallery.
